I never thought that I would spend so much time in Northern Wales. When I was in London studying, Colwyn Bay was my second home. It is the hometown of Phil, my teacher from the Bartlett. He would have us come up to his house and stay for weeks on end to work on our projects and travel the Welsh coastline.
One day we went an a walk down by the coast. The interesting about Colwyn Bay is that because it is so far north, the tides are extreme. When the tide is out, you can walk out on the sand pretty far. When the tide is in the water crashes up over the guardrails onto the path.
