London

So we're sitting here watching the coverage of the Royal Wedding (they broke in on the news) and it's making me think alot about London, my favorite city. As many of you know, I spent a year living in this great city as I was working on my master's degree. London grew on me very quickly. I've never been in a city so large that felt so intimate. I spent a lot of my free time (what little I had) walking and exploring the city. London was the first place that I have ever lived where I didn't have a car, or feel that I needed one. I loved the freedom of walking out the door from the flat and having the whole city to explore. As we sit here watching the coverage, the aerial images of the city remind me how magical of a city London is, and how much I miss the city that will always hold a special place in my heart.
